A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit it. Cookies help the website recognise you on a later visit and work properly.
On their own, cookies do not contain identifiable personal data and cannot access information on your device. However, when combined with other identifiers, certain cookies may qualify as “personal data” within the meaning of the GDPR — which is why we handle them in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
• Session cookies — exist only for the duration of your browsing session and are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (from a few minutes to several years), depending on their stated purpose.
• First-party cookies — set directly by tandemcasa.ro.
• Third-party cookies — set by third-party providers integrated into the website (Google, Meta, Microsoft, etc.), with our agreement and for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
On tandemcasa.ro we use five categories of cookies and similar technologies, each with its own legal basis:
They ensure the basic functioning of the website — correct display, navigation and remembering your cookie preference. Without them, the website cannot function.
Legal basis: Art. 4(6)(b) of Law no. 506/2004 — strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user. Consent is not required.
They allow embedded content from third-party providers to be displayed — Google Maps and videos. When this content loads, those providers may set their own cookies. Disabling them does not prevent you from using the website, but may limit the display of embedded maps and videos.
Legal basis: the user's consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR + Art. 4 of Law no. 506/2004. Activated only after you give your consent in the cookie banner.
They show us how the website is used — pages visited, session duration, traffic source — so that we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4; in the case of Google Analytics, the IP address is anonymised (truncated).
This category (“Analytics” in the cookie banner) does not include Microsoft Clarity: session recording has its own category and requires a separate consent (section 4.5).
Legal basis: the user's consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR + Art. 4 of Law no. 506/2004. Activated only after you give your consent in the cookie banner.
They support relevant online advertising (Google Ads, remarketing, Meta Pixel — Facebook and Instagram) and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
Google Ads enhanced conversions: for two conversions — the successful submission of the price calculator for kitchens (including the form on the “Bucătării Brașov” page) and the successful submission of the “Mobilare completă” (complete furnishing) price calculator — we use the Google Ads enhanced conversions feature. The purpose is conversion measurement: to enable us to link the request you submitted more accurately to the Google ad you saw or clicked on; for this purpose, Google compares the hash value it receives with Google account data. We do not use the phone number to show you ads or to build customer lists (the Customer Match feature is not used).
What we transmit through enhanced conversions: only the phone number you entered in the form concerned. The website converts the number to international format (+40…), and the Google tag irreversibly transforms it using the SHA-256 hash function, directly in your browser, and transmits it to Google together with the conversion. If the number cannot be converted to international format with certainty, it is not transmitted. Your name is not transmitted, and these forms do not collect your e-mail address. Enhanced conversions do not add any new cookies.
Conditions: the phone number is transmitted only if you accepted the “Marketing” category on or after 15 October 2026; from that date, this Policy and the description of the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner mention the transmission of the phone number. Consents to “Marketing” given before 15 October 2026 do not cover this transmission: in such cases, the phone number is not transmitted, and the banner is not shown again because of this change (section 6.7). In addition, through Google Consent Mode, the ad_user_data signal is set to granted only if you have accepted the “Marketing” category.
Google's role: for enhanced conversions, Google Ireland Limited acts as a processor on behalf of WHITEDECOR SRL (Art. 28 GDPR), in accordance with the Google Ads Data Processing Terms: business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms. The data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States (section 9).
Retention of hash values: we do not store the hash values; Google retains them in accordance with the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. We keep the phone number as part of your request, for the periods indicated in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): we use Meta Pixel (ID 630698020843724), the measurement tool provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram (conversions), to optimise the delivery of these ads and to build audiences for advertising (remarketing). Meta Pixel loads only after you have accepted the “Marketing” category — via “Accept all” or via the “Marketing” switch in the “Cookie settings” panel (sections 6.2 and 6.6). Until then, the website does not load the Meta script and does not send any request to Meta servers (connect.facebook.net, www.facebook.com).
Events transmitted: the website transmits only the following events to Meta:
• PageView — viewing a page;
• Lead — successfully submitting a form: a contact or consultation form (in the showroom or online), a B2B request, the price calculators for kitchens and for Mobilare completă (complete furnishing), a call-back request, a promotion form, a product consultation request, the forms in pop-up windows and the form page dedicated to advertising campaigns;
• CompleteRegistration — a designer's application to become a partner;
• Subscribe — subscribing to the newsletter from the pop-up window;
• Contact — clicking on the phone number, the e-mail address or WhatsApp;
• FindLocation — opening the showroom map or clicking on the Google Maps link.
Together with the events, we transmit only the type of form or contact channel and, for the price calculators, the estimated amount of the calculation and the currency — never the values you enter in the fields.
What Meta receives automatically: with each event, Meta receives the page address, the page you came from (referrer), the IP address, browser data (user agent) and the identifiers stored in the _fbp and _fbc cookies (section 5.3). If you are logged in to your Facebook or Instagram account in the same browser, or if there are Meta cookies on the facebook.com domain, Meta may link the event to your account or to those cookies.
What we do not transmit: automatic configuration of the pixel is disabled, so Meta Pixel does not itself collect button clicks or page metadata. We do not transmit the content of forms (name, phone number, e-mail, message) to Meta — neither in plain text nor in hashed form — and we do not use the “advanced matching” feature.
Meta's role: for the collection of data through Meta Pixel on tandemcasa.ro and its transmission to Meta, WHITEDECOR SRL and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR; judgment of the CJEU in Case C-40/17, Fashion ID), in accordance with Meta's “Controller Addendum” (link in section 8.2). Meta carries out any further processing as an independent controller, including for its own purposes (displaying advertising, improving its own products), in accordance with its Privacy Policy. In respect of the joint processing, you can exercise your rights both with WHITEDECOR SRL and with Meta; in respect of the further processing — with Meta.
Data retention: we do not store the data transmitted through Meta Pixel; Meta retains it in accordance with its own policy. The cookie durations are indicated in section 5.3.
Microsoft Advertising: only if you have accepted both the “Marketing” category and the “Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)” category may Microsoft Clarity read Microsoft Advertising cookies (if any) and transmit data to Microsoft Advertising, Microsoft's advertising service. Without consent to “Marketing”, we send Clarity the signal ad_Storage = denied and, according to Microsoft's documentation, Clarity does not share data with Microsoft Advertising; without consent to session recording, Clarity does not load at all. Please note that, once loaded, Clarity synchronises the Microsoft MUID identifier through the clarity.ms and bing.com domains (section 5.5), and Microsoft may also use the data received through Clarity for its own purposes described in section 4.5 (see also section 5.3).
Legal basis: the user's consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR + Art. 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004. Activated only after you give your consent to the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner; for Meta Pixel, only consent given on or after 14 October 2026 is valid (section 6.6), and for the transmission of the phone number through Google Ads enhanced conversions, only consent given on or after 15 October 2026 is valid (section 6.7).
We use Microsoft Clarity for click maps (heatmaps) and recordings of browsing sessions. It shows us, for example, where visitors stop in the price calculators or in forms and which page elements do not work well — so that we can improve the website.
What data is collected: interactions with the page (clicks, scrolling, mouse movements and screen taps); the content of the pages as it is displayed to you; the addresses of the pages visited and the page you came from (referrer); device type, browser, operating system and screen size; approximate location, determined from the IP address (the IP address is processed by Microsoft); the Clarity user identifier.
What is not recorded: the content of form fields (name, phone number, e-mail, messages, etc.) is always hidden, directly in the browser, before anything is transmitted; other personal data displayed on the pages is masked. We do not send names, phone numbers or e-mail addresses to Clarity.
The recordings are not anonymous: they are linked to a Clarity identifier and to an approximate location, which is why we treat them as personal data.
Microsoft's role: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd acts as an independent controller, not as our processor. Microsoft may also use the data for its own purposes, in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement (section 8.4), including to improve its services and for advertising. WHITEDECOR SRL is responsible for the decision to use Clarity on tandemcasa.ro and for collecting the data and transmitting it to Microsoft; Microsoft is responsible for any further processing it carries out for its own purposes.
Microsoft Advertising: data from Clarity is transmitted to Microsoft Advertising only if you have also accepted the “Marketing” category (section 4.4).
Data retention in Clarity: session recordings — 30 days; click maps, click data, sessions marked by our team and a random sample of recordings retained by Microsoft — up to 9 months. Microsoft may retain data for longer in accordance with its own Privacy Statement.
Legal basis: the user's consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR + Art. 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004. Activated only after your separate consent for this category — via “Accept all”, via its own switch in the “Cookie settings” panel or via the “Allow” button in the dedicated window (section 6). Consent is valid for 9 months (section 6.5) and can be withdrawn at any time (section 7.3).

Meta Pixel: the _fbp and _fbc cookies are created on the tandemcasa.ro domain only after you consent to the “Marketing” category and are deleted by the website when you withdraw your consent (section 7.4). The fr cookie belongs to the facebook.com domain and therefore cannot be deleted by tandemcasa.ro — you can manage it in your Facebook or browser settings (sections 7.2 and 7.4). The names and durations are those used by Meta on the date of this version of the Policy and may be changed by Meta.
Microsoft Advertising: if you have accepted both “Marketing” and “Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)”, Microsoft Clarity may also read Microsoft Advertising cookies (_uetvid, _uetmsclkid) — these exist on tandemcasa.ro only if they are created by the Microsoft Advertising tag (UET) — and may transmit data to Microsoft Advertising. Without both consents, Clarity does not read these cookies and, according to Microsoft's documentation, does not share data with Microsoft Advertising.

These cookies are set by Microsoft on its own domains when Microsoft Clarity loads — and therefore only after you consent to session recording. The names and durations are those used by Microsoft on the date of this version of the Policy and may be changed by Microsoft.
Important: because they are set on Microsoft domains, these cookies cannot be deleted by tandemcasa.ro, not even when you withdraw your consent. After you withdraw your consent, our website no longer loads Microsoft Clarity and no longer sends requests to these domains. You can delete or block them yourself:
• in your browser settings — delete the cookies and site data of clarity.ms and bing.com (instructions in section 7.2);
• information on how Microsoft uses this data and on your options: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement;
• Microsoft settings for personalised ads (requires signing in to your Microsoft account): account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings.
The list of third-party cookies may vary depending on how the platforms are configured. For the up-to-date list, please consult the providers' policies (links in section 8).
tandemcasa.ro uses a consent mechanism that complies with the GDPR and Law no. 506/2004, based on Google Consent Mode v2 (for Google services) and on the Microsoft Clarity consent interface (for session recording).
On your first visit, all non-essential cookies (functional, analytics, marketing and session recording cookies) are disabled. Only strictly necessary cookies load automatically. Technically, this behaviour is implemented through Google Consent Mode v2, with the following default values:
• ad_storage = denied;
• ad_user_data = denied;
• ad_personalization = denied;
• analytics_storage = denied;
• functionality_storage = granted (required for the website to function);
• security_storage = granted (required for security).
Microsoft Clarity does not load at all on your first visit: no Clarity script and no request to Microsoft servers (clarity.ms, bing.com) until you consent to the “Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)” category. After you give this consent, we send Clarity the consent signal on every page load and after every change to your preferences:
• analytics_Storage = granted (consent to session recording);
• ad_Storage = granted only if you have also accepted the “Marketing” category; otherwise ad_Storage = denied and, according to Microsoft's documentation, Clarity does not share data with Microsoft Advertising.
Meta Pixel does not load on your first visit: no Meta script and no request to Meta servers (connect.facebook.net, www.facebook.com) until you consent to the “Marketing” category. For Meta Pixel, only consent to “Marketing” given on or after 14 October 2026 is valid (section 6.6).
On your first visit, the cookie banner offers you three buttons, displayed with equal prominence:
• “Accept all” — all categories are accepted: strictly necessary + functional + analytics + marketing + session recordings (Microsoft Clarity);
• “Reject all” — only strictly necessary cookies are accepted; all other categories remain disabled;
• “Settings” — opens the “Cookie settings” panel, where you choose each category individually.
In the “Cookie settings” panel, strictly necessary cookies are marked “Always on”, and each of the other categories has its own switch: “Analytics”, “Marketing”, “Functional” and “Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)”. Confirm your choice with “Save choices” or use “Accept all” / “Reject all” directly from the panel.
The “Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)” switch is never switched on in advance: it stays off until you switch it on yourself, press “Accept all” or choose “Allow” in the window described in section 6.4. Simply saving the panel without turning this switch on does not constitute consent.
Your choices are stored in strictly necessary cookies (tandem_consent, tandem_consent_prefs, tandem_consent_rec — section 5.1) and apply for 12 months or until you change your preferences (see section 7). Consent to session recording is valid for 9 months (see section 6.5).
Consent meets the requirements of the GDPR (Art. 7):
• it is freely given — we do not make access to the website conditional on accepting non-essential cookies;
• it is informed — the banner provides a direct link to this Policy;
• it is unambiguous — expressed by a clear affirmative action (pressing a button);
• it is specific — session recording (Microsoft Clarity) has its own consent, which does not follow from the consent given for other categories;
• it can be withdrawn at any time, as easily as it was given (see section 7).
Visitors who, before the “Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)” category was introduced, accepted at least one category of non-essential cookies are not shown the full banner again. Instead, we ask them separately, through a small window dedicated solely to Microsoft Clarity, with a link to this Policy and two buttons of equal prominence:
• “Allow” — turns session recording on;
• “Don't allow” — session recording stays off.
Your answer concerns session recording only: your previous choices for “Analytics”, “Marketing” and “Functional” remain unchanged. Until you answer, Microsoft Clarity does not load. If you previously accepted the “Marketing” category, after “Allow” Clarity may also transmit data to Microsoft Advertising (section 4.4); if you do not want this, switch off the “Marketing” category in the “Cookie settings” panel. If you previously rejected all non-essential cookies (“Reject all”), we do not ask you again: session recording stays off and you can turn it on at any time from the “Cookie settings” panel.
Microsoft considers consent for Clarity valid for no longer than 9 months. Therefore, 9 months after you consented to session recording, we ask you again, through the same window (“Allow” / “Don't allow”). Recording continues only if you reconfirm your consent. Your other cookie choices remain valid for 12 months.
From 14 October 2026, the description of the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner mentions Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). Consent to “Marketing” given before that date does not cover Meta Pixel, because the description of the category at that time did not mention Meta. Meta Pixel loads only on the basis of consent to “Marketing” given on or after 14 October 2026.
If you allowed the “Marketing” category before 14 October 2026, we show you the cookie banner again. In the “Cookie settings” panel, the “Marketing” switch stays off until you switch it on yourself or press “Accept all”, because a pre-selected option does not constitute consent. Until you make a new choice, Meta Pixel does not load.
If you rejected the “Marketing” category, we do not ask you again: your choice remains unchanged and Meta Pixel does not load. You can switch on the “Marketing” category at any time from the “Cookie settings” panel (section 7.1).
From 15 October 2026, the description of the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner states that, for requests sent from the calculators, Google Ads also receives the phone number in irreversibly transformed form (hash). The phone number is transmitted through Google Ads enhanced conversions (section 4.4) only on the basis of consent to “Marketing” given on or after 15 October 2026. The website recognises such consents by the indication of the banner version stored in the tandem_consent_prefs cookie (section 5.1). Through Google Consent Mode, the ad_user_data signal is set to granted only if you have accepted the “Marketing” category; otherwise it remains denied (section 6.1).
Consent to “Marketing” given before 15 October 2026 does not cover the transmission of the phone number, because the description of the category at that time did not mention it. If you gave your consent before that date, the phone number is not transmitted, and your consent remains valid for the services it covered. We do not show you the cookie banner again because of this change: enhanced conversions are neither a new service nor a new recipient, but additional data for the same Google Ads conversion measurement.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the change.
The easiest way: press the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen (the “Cookie settings” button). This opens the “Cookie settings” panel, where you can switch each category on or off and confirm with “Save choices” (or use “Accept all” / “Reject all”). Your new choice immediately replaces your previous preference.
Alternatively, you can write to us at [email protected] for assistance in exercising your rights.
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings. Official instructions:
• Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647;
• Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org/ro/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer;
• Safari: support.apple.com/ro-ro/guide/safari/sfri11471;
• Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge.
For Microsoft cookies on the clarity.ms and bing.com domains (section 5.5) and for Meta cookies on the facebook.com domain (section 5.3), look for these domains in the list of sites that store data in your browser and delete their data.
Please note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the proper functioning of the website — for example, remembering your consent.
You can withdraw your consent to Microsoft Clarity at any time, as easily as you gave it:
1. press the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen (the “Cookie settings” button);
2. in the “Cookie settings” panel, turn off the “Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)” switch and press “Save choices” — or press “Reject all” if you want to withdraw all your consents;
3. the page reloads automatically. From that moment, recording stops, Microsoft Clarity no longer loads on tandemcasa.ro, and the Clarity cookies on our domain (_clck, _clsk) and the _cltk identifier in sessionStorage are deleted.
Cookies set by Microsoft on its own domains (clarity.ms, bing.com) cannot be deleted by our website — you can delete them in your browser (sections 5.5 and 7.2). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of recordings made before the withdrawal; these are retained for the periods indicated in section 4.5.
You can withdraw your consent to Meta Pixel at any time, as easily as you gave it:
1. press the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen (the “Cookie settings” button);
2. in the “Cookie settings” panel, turn off the “Marketing” switch and press “Save choices” — or press “Reject all” if you want to withdraw all your consents;
3. Meta Pixel stops immediately and no longer transmits events, including on the page that is already open, and the _fbp and _fbc cookies on the tandemcasa.ro domain are deleted.
Turning off the “Marketing” category also disables the other services in this category (section 4.4). Meta cookies on the facebook.com domain (for example, fr) cannot be deleted by our website — you can manage them in your Facebook account settings or in your browser settings (section 7.2). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal; data already transmitted to Meta is retained by Meta in accordance with its own policy (section 8.2).
You can withdraw your consent to the transmission of the phone number through Google Ads enhanced conversions at any time, as easily as you gave it:
1. press the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen (the “Cookie settings” button);
2. in the “Cookie settings” panel, turn off the “Marketing” switch and press “Save choices” — or press “Reject all” if you want to withdraw all your consents;
3. from that moment, the website no longer provides the phone number to the Google tag and no longer transmits it to Google Ads, and the Google Consent Mode signal ad_user_data is set to denied.
Turning off the “Marketing” category also disables the other services in this category (section 4.4). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal; hash values already transmitted are retained by Google in accordance with the Google Ads Data Processing Terms (section 4.4).
Certain cookies are set by third-party providers integrated into the website for analytics, session recording, advertising and communication services. These providers process the data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We announce changes affecting the categories of cookies processed, the purposes, the recipients or your rights on the website, by showing the cookie banner again or through a separate window describing what is new. New consent-based services start only after you have explicitly given a new consent for them; until then, they remain switched off. Choices made previously remain valid for the services they covered and do not automatically extend to new services. Other substantial changes, concerning cookies already in use, are announced at least 30 days before they take effect.

In case of any discrepancy between the Romanian version of this Policy and its translations, the Romanian version prevails.
What changed in version 2.4:
• Google Ads enhanced conversions for the price calculators for kitchens and for Mobilare completă (complete furnishing), in the “Marketing” category: only the phone number is transmitted, converted to international format and irreversibly transformed (SHA-256 hash) in the browser; the purpose, the conditions, the role of Google Ireland Limited as a processor and the legal basis (sections 4.4 and 8.1);
• tandem_consent_prefs also stores the version of the cookie banner (section 5.1); the phone number is transmitted only on the basis of consent to “Marketing” given on or after 15 October 2026, and the cookie banner is not shown again for earlier consents (section 6.7);
• withdrawing consent to enhanced conversions (section 7.5).
